Resident Evil 5

You should not play this game if you are into deep engaging storylines. You should not play this game if you want advanced gameplay and beautiful looking graphics, and you should definitely not play this game if you hate shooting zombies so...Why should you play this game? Because it's FREAKING AWESOME!

The Resident Evil games have always been know to be scary, survival horror games. This game is not that scary. The atmosphere and the locations in the game are not that horrifying and the zombies are...well zombies (they are not actually traditional zombies because some of them can shoot back at you). That does not mean that the game lacks excitement and thrills. You have to be on your toes most of the time and you're always wondering how you're going to take yourself out of the next difficult situation. Ammo and inventory are also limited so you can't go in guns blazing in every situation hoping to get out of there alive. You can't afford to waist any bullets and you have to collect all the ammo you'll find.

In the game you play as Chris Redfield (a guy who most definitely lifts...and has been hitting the gym waaay to much as his biceps has reached epic proportions) and your partner is Sheva Alomar (a hot girl of course... I mean this is a video game). You can choose to play this game single player or split-screen or online Co-op. I played this game with a friend in split-screen, and I would say that's the way this game is made to be played. It would not be as fun to play this single player as you have to make up tactics on how to defeat the enemy and you also help each other out a lot. Sometimes the game is pretty hard and if I would be playing on my own I would probably give up much easier, but with a friend you play until you've killed all those motherloving zombies.

It took sometime for me to get used to the controls in the game and it's kind of annoying that you can't shoot and run at the same time, but when you get used to the controls it gets really fun. I have to say I did not expect much of this game, but it really surprised me in a good way. So, if you are looking for a game to "bro out" with a friend this is definitely worth a try.
