James Bond: Quantum of Solace (Xbox 360)

My girlfriend is a huge fan of James Bond so I got this game for her and we played it together. It’s an old game that came out to Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2008 an it’s based on the movies Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

The first impression was that it was really dated graphics-wise however it turned out the first level looked much worse than later levels and once you got used to it, it didn’t look that bad for a last-gen game.

The game is pretty straightforward. You shoot and kill bad guys. It’s also very action oriented although you can play stealthy at times, shutting down cameras and then taking out enemies one by one. The game follows the stories of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace but the story is told just through short mission briefings without subtitles so it’s a bit hard to follow.

A nice plus is that the voices are done my the real cast from the movies, Daniel Craig, Judy Dench and Olga Kurylenko. The game is quite short and overall just your average first-person shooter with a James Bond skin. The music is nice though. Paid 7 euros for it.
