Metro Redux (PS4)

Metro Redux consists of remastered versions of the games Metro 2033 (2010) and Metro: Last Light (2013). They are both survival horror and first-person shooters set in a post-apocalyptic Russia.
Metro 2033 is based on a novel with the same name by Dmitry Glukhovsky and Metro: Last Light is the sequel.

In the post-apocalyptic world of the Metro series, the surface of the earth is an unlivable and dangerous place filled with mutated creatures and unbreathable air. The survivors thus live underneath the ground in the old metro tunnels of Moscow. Only a few brave ones go up to the surface and when they do a gas mask is necessary.

In Metro 2033you play as Artyom, a young man who because of unforeseen circumstances becomes part of a mission to wipe out the mysterious Dark Ones, the mutated but sentient creatures that inhabit the surface of the earth. The sequel Metro: Last Light continues his story.

Though Metro certainly is a horror game with it's mutants and monsters and creepy environments it's still an action game at heart. Bullets are somewhat scarce but gas mask filters, which you need when you´re on the surface, are much less easy to come by. So you should definitely search every nook and cranny and loot everything you can.

Both games are quite linear and does not offer that much freedom of choice to the player. However, by being that it provides a solid, focused and narrative driven experience that is both exciting and fun.
Since there are a lot of good games out there and I tend to give quite high scores to all of them this game gets a bit lower, because while it succeeds in giving an exciting experience it just didn't leave a longer lasting impact on me.

Now I can't remember exactly how much I paid for this bundle but it was under 10 € for sure and it's definitely worth more, so if you see it on sale I recommend buying, Metro Redux.
