Army of Two
Army of Two is a third-person shooter made for co-op
gameplay and it definitely shows. While other games just add co-op on top of the actual
game that is often built as a single player game Army of Two uses a lot of co-op tactics that makes it fun to and meaningful to play with a friend as your co-op partner.
As a two man army you use special co-op tactics to take out enemies in the game. To those include sniping, parachuting, using riot shields and driving different vehicles. For the missions you complete you are rewarded with money and you can use that money to buy and upgrade weapons and armor.

The game was already released in 2007 and there has also been some sequels which I have not yet had the time to play (but I probably will) I guess according to the standards we're more used to in 2014 the game might feel a little outdated at some points. I still think however that it offers some solid gameplay and story and is still one
of the better co-op games I've played.
The story is simply put about two badass
merceneries getting sent on missions to different parts of the world
to take out of some bad guy or rescue people. Well, the story and
characters are quite clichéd but I guess it works for these types of games. There's a lot of action and you won't experience any dull moments. Army of Two is a good game for gamers who like co-op games and third person shooters.
